What we do
Louisville Gun Works (LGW) provides high-quality services to firearm owners, including custom metal and wood refinishing at reasonable prices and minimum hassle. We take pride in getting the job right the first time and believe that every detail contributes to the uniqueness of the firearm - from a faint cartouche on the stock of a collectible rifle to a

multicolor Duracoat finish on an AR-15. We provide other services such as Parkerizing, Internet Transfers, and Consignment Sales.

Our secure facility is fully-licensed and insured. Like the quality of our work, the facility details are essential from the carpeted workbenches to the temperature controlled paint booth. LGW's facility has several layers of security to keep your firearms safe during the service period.

More than just a reblue
LGW strives to restore the firearm to manufactured specifications, leveraging experience with similiar makes and models and process expertise. To some degree, all work entails restoration, but the difference is that thorough restoration demands much more than "reblue" or "reparkerizing". We take pride in restoring the firearm so that it will exceed your expectations.

Water Damage Restoration
Fire and water damaged guns can often be brought back to working condition. Ship me the gun,
I will evaluate it and let you know what I think can be done and how much it will cost.  If it’s too much, I'll ship the gun back.  Your only cost will be actual return shipping.
